Marist and Jasper win 2016 Coca-Cola Games
Marist Brothers High School has won the boys division of the Coca-Cola Games this year while Jasper Williams High School has won the girls division taking the trophy back to Lautoka for another year.
Marist Brothers High School leads the medal tally with 17 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze.
Natabua High School is in second place with 12 gold, 12 silver and 4 bronze while Ratu Kadavulevu School is in third place with 6 gold, 6 silver and 10 bronze.
Marist last won the boys division in 2014, Natabua High School won the title last year.
In the girls division, Jasper Williams High School leads with 15 gold, 19 silver and 8 bronze, Adi Cakobau School is in second place with 15 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze and Suva Grammar is in third place with 4 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze.
Jasper has been the defending champion since 2013.

Marist, Jasper lead after Day 2 of Coke Games

Jasper Williams continue their lead in the girl’s division with 7 gold, 10 silver and 3 bronze, ACS are in second place with 5 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze and Suva Grammar in third with 3 gold and 1 bronze.
Marist Brothers High School are currently leading the boys division with 9 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze, Natabua High School follows in second with 8 gold, 7 silver and 2 bronze. QVS are currently in third place with 2 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze.
Ilaitia Waqairadovu of Queen Victoria School wins the blue ribbon event of 2016, Gold in the senior boys 100m.
Grammar, Jasper lead after Day 1 of Coke Games
APRIL 28, 2016 10:07pm | ASHUTOSH SINGHRecords have been broken, 25 medals have been awarded at the Day One of the 2016 Coca Cola Games which came to an end at the ANZ Stadium in Suva this evening.
Defending girls champions Jasper Williams are off to a good start leading the girls division with 2 Gold and 2 Silver, Alitia Wailevu and Sesenieli Donu secured gold in the Intermediate Girls Triple Jump and Senior Girls Long Jump respectively.
The girls of Jasper lead ahead of Napuka Secondary School with one gold, one silver and one bronze and Xavier College with one gold in the girls division.
A 15-year-old record was broken by Katarina Lilicama of Napuka Secondary to win Gold in the junior girls javelin.
Viliame Rokobuli in the Inter Boys Discus event gave Suva Grammar their first Gold, leading the boys division with 1 Gold and 1 Bronze.
Delana Methodist School of Levuka and Niusawa Methodist High School follow in second and third place with one Gold each respectively.
The 2016 Coca Cola Games is for the first time in history a three day event so it is still too early to make any predictions.
