Missing Person: Makisi Vugakoto
Police are looking for 17-year-old Makisi Vugakoto of Tabia, Labasa who went missing from home since the 23rd of April.
Police Spokesperson Inspector Josaia Weicavu said she was sent by her grandfather to Labasa Town to do some shopping but never returned ever since.
WEICAVU: “Members of the public with information on her whereabouts are requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919.”
Missing Person: Alpana Archana Kumar is safe and back home
APRIL 24, 2016 4:50pm | PENI SHUTEAlpana Archana Kumar was found at Yalavou Farm, Navosa with the 26-year-old man who abducted her from Ballantine Memorial School last Tuesday the 19th day of this month.
Police spokesperson Josaia Weicavu said the 26-year-old man has been charged with ‘Abduction’.
WEICAVU: “The 26-year-old man has been charged for Abduction and will be produced in court tomorrow 25/04/16, Alapana has returned home to the family safely.”
“Thanks to the media and members of the public who provided us with information.”
Kumar was reported missing last week.
Missing Person: Leone Necani

Police Spokesperson Inspector Josaia Weicavu said Leone is a student at Marist Champgnat Institute in Vatuawaqa.
Members of the public with information on his whereabouts are requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919.
Missing Persons: Alpana Archana Kumar and Vasemaca Radave
APRIL 20, 2016 12:10pm ASHUTOSH SINGHPolice are looking for 14-year-old Alpana Archana Kumar, of Namadi Heights, Tamavua, a form 3 student of Ballantine Memorial School.
Police spokesperson Inspector Josaia Weicavu said they are treating this case as an ‘abduction’ as it is alleged that a man claiming to be her brother came and picked her up from the school during lunch break yesterday.
WEICAVU: “Alpana who currently resides at Namadi Heights is originally from Nadi.”
“The man was traveling in a minibus with Suva Nadi Suva printed on the side and ‘SOTE’ printed on the van’s windscreen.”
“Alpana was wearing her green school uniform with a black socks and sandals. She was carrying her pink and black school bag. She is about 1.55m tall with fair complexion and slim built.”
Inspector Weicavu said police are also looking for 17-year-old Vasemaca Radave of Delainavesi who went missing from her home on Friday, the 15th of this month.
WEICAVU: “She left home to visit her aunt at Naisogowaluvu and never returned home ever since. Vasemaca is a Form 6 student at Lami High School. She is 1.6m tall, of dark complexion with long curly hair.”
Members of the public with information on whereabouts of both the girls are requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919 or to contact the nearest police station.
Missing Persons: Vaciseva Vunibaka and Zyana Ali

Police Spokesperson, Inspector Josaia Weicavu said that Vaciseva Vunibaka who went missing since the 1st of April is a 19-year-old of Bilo Rd, Veisari, Lami.
WEICAVU: “She was last seen shopping with her parents in Suva and went missing from town at around 1pm.”
Police are also requesting information on 20-year-old Zyana Shazina Ali of Yalava, Sigatoka.
Inspector Weicavu said Zyana left home with her father on 31st of March to visit her sick mother and did not return home to her husband since then.

Missing Person: Taraivini Ranadi
APRIL 8, 2016 4:25PM | ALLISON PENJUELIPolice are requesting information on the whereabouts of Taraivini Ranadi who was reported missing at the Lami Police Station on the 7th of April.
Taraivini Ranadi is 18-years-old and was last seen leaving her Veisari home heading to ANZ Stadium for the Secondary School Athletics Meet on Thursday (31/03/16).
She was wearing her Ballantine Memorial School uniform when leaving home on that Thursday morning.
Anyone with information on Taraivini is requested to call Lami Police Station on 9905 384 or Crime Stoppers on 919.
