Parliament adjourned to May

Speaker of Parliament Hon. Dr Jiko Luveni has adjourned the parliament sitting to Monday 30th of May.

The adjournment motion was moved by Minister of Agriculture Hon. Inia Seruiratu.  Speaker Luveni thanked the MPs for the robust debates throughout the week.

Written parliamentary questions were also suspended from today’s parliament to be moved at a later date. Debates on bills tabled in Parliament by the Attorney General Hon. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will be debated on the resumption of Parliament in May.
