BSP Country Manager Fiji, Kevin McCarthy said that BSP is proud to support the initiative by the SPTO to develop the region’s tourism market in its 16 member countries.
We recognize that tourism lays an integral role in local island economies already and it holds potential to contribute even more to GDP and national groth. We are encouraged by the opportunities it offers budding entrepreneurs who provide niche experiences in their localities. These for the ‘engine room for growwth’ in local island economies which we also serve.
This tourism exchange will nurture a regional and global co-operation amongst industry stakeholders and as the leading financial services provider in the South Pacific, this partnership places us in the right place at the right time to offer our services and advice. It makes sense that we should support this intiative.
The two-day event will be hosted at Australia’s iconic Sea World Resort Convention Centre from 20th-21st of May 2016.
